What will you do?

Manufacturing Engineer Line/Area Managers are responsible for the results of their area and building long term capability in their area, team members, and systems.   They lead our efforts to identify and drive out losses through standards and implementing daily systems that enable us to produce the highest quality products.Daily work could encompass any of the following:Providing leadership to deliver continuous improvement of our operations, work processes, and automation technologies, systems and reliabilityManaging, coaching, and building capability in techniciansIdentifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficienciesDelivery and start-up of new equipment, initiatives, and projectsCollaborating with technical experts, other functions, and other manufacturing sites to create the best solutionsCreating and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the processing areaUnderstanding and working with state-of-the-art robotics and cutting-edge technologies including self-guided vehicles, automated storage and retrieval systems, automated picking solutions and advanced warehouse management systems.Responsible for ensuring and sustaining the operational safety, product quality and records accuracy for the line. Responsible for deploying and maintaining standards and owns the daily direction setting process and the Run to Target Process for unit/line. Responsible for building the capability of the organization and for fostering a healthy team culture.

Job Qualifications

We think you will be a good fit if you have the following:

Have a BS/MS degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management. We prefer Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, though we may also consider other degrees..Have less than 4 years relevant work experience in engineering, manufacturing, physical distribution, or supply chain managementAre willing to travel on the job on occasion.Are willing to relocate during your career.
