Line manager Test & Measurement Facilities

Then the job as Group Lead at TMF might be of interest to you! Test and Measurement Facilities (TMF) tests and investigates hardware at part and subsystem level for feasibility, robustness and lifetime qualification and is part of Reliability department within the sector Development & Engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Group Lead is a highly motivated team player with excellent social, coordination and communication skills. Flexible, pragmatic and determined. Able to coach and motivate people. Broad knowledge of hardware development, test methods and failure mechanisms. Able to represent the Test & Measurement Department (TMF) to internal customers. This job requires to have a clear vision and the leadership to inspire, convince and motivate others to deliver value meeting business needs. The Group Leader leads a multidisciplinary team of > 20 direct reports in the most effective way. Furthermore, the GL ensures adherence to WoW and processes.

Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop individual team members

Build & coach multidisciplinary high performing teams

Managing the culture within the team, according to ASML values

End2end ownership of function team deliverables

TMF team operations & process compliance

(Sub) technical competence leadership

Handshake with internal stakeholders (e.g. DM, PCM,FO etc.)

Representing TMF and maintaining network and stakeholders

Additional operational contribution to topics like:; Lab & asset safety, OpEx/CapEx, Sign-offs/submit, Training curriculum and IT-infrastructure . With Deliverables such as;

A high performing team with engaged team members

Individual coaching of team members on technical and behavioral aspects.

(Sub) technical competence development

Reliable measurement data

Aligned team technology roadmap

Team impediments removed

Education and experience

Bachelor of Science / Master of Science in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics or likewise.

Experience in leading a group of technical professionals either as Team Lead, project manager or group/line manager.

Experienced in Hardware development

Proven ability to work in an international multicultural setting and be a team player.

Experience with (embedding) an agile way of working that is necessary in complex organizations

Applied technical knowledge related to ASML technology and preferably knowledge on Hardware testing in a R&D environment

Preferably worked with and knowledge of ASML products and Functional clusters (FC’s).

Team player with people focus, coaching skills and ability to build an effective team and a network

Flexible, ensuring accountability

Ability to set direction, motivate and give feedback to individuals and team

Able to understand technical details and coach on deliverables
