We have an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a Line Mechanic within our team based in Matamata working across the Powerco network. You will be responsible for the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations while ensuring a safe work environment at all times.

It is essential that you are an experienced Line Mechanic with knowledge of the power industry and can offer the following:

Essential

Relevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and current practising licence NZQF Level 4 qualification Current Class 1 driver’s licence (car) Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work

Desirable

G&B qualification Class 2 licence 2 Years Post Qualification experience Faults Experience Powerco competencies
