The Line Service Technician provides essential support for all Fixed Base Operations (FBO) ramp operations, assisting inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews, and passengers. This role requires strong decision-making, adherence to company policies and procedures, flexibility in a dynamic environment, and excellent interpersonal skills. Safety is a top priority, as the position involves operating vehicles, towing, and marshalling aircraft in high-noise areas around people, equipment, and hangars. Technicians must follow all safety procedures to protect themselves, others, and company and customer property.

Essential Functions and Duties: Fuel aircraft according to ATA specifications and maintain quality control standards; operate fuel farm, refuelers, and ground service equipment Marshall arriving and departing aircraft, ensure aircraft are chocked, locked, and secure, and assist pilots with pre- and post-flight ramp services Load and unload baggage, provide lavatory and potable water service, and assist flight crews as needed Operate ground support equipment and perform aircraft towing operations in support of ramp activities Support daily airport operations, including safety, security, snow removal, facility cleaning, and directing personnel on the ramp Perform administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones, making reservations, and using Microsoft Office for emails and training
Qualifications: Previous experience in Fixed Base Operations (FBO) strongly preferred Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, and stand for prolonged periods on concrete or metal surfaces Able to work in confined or awkward spaces and maintain manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment Vision 20/20 (corrected or uncorrected) with excellent depth perception and ability to judge distances Frequently lift and carry items weighing 50–75 pounds; heavier items may require mechanical assistance or teamwork Able to perform physically demanding tasks in varied working conditions, including outdoor ramp operations
