Overview
The Line Service Manager for the Cook Aviation will lead the group in supporting corporate and private flight operations, by building an empowered, engaged team that provides excellent customer service to all customers, internal and external to Cook Aviation. This position oversees all flight refueling, baggage handling and catering provision processes.
Responsibilities
• Drive and enable a culture of performance excellence, delivering operational efficiency
• Manages all Line Service Personnel, including scheduling, reviewing, and performance management
• Assures Line Service Personnel are properly trained on all applicable Cook Aviation responsibilities
• Assures that all work is conducted in a manner consistent with safety guidelines and standards to ensure compliance with the Monroe County Airport requirements
as well as all other governmental Agencies, including the FAA, OSHA, EPA, Etc.
• Makes decisions that impact the day to day running operations of the Company
• Maintains computer records for daily line revenues
• Responsible for reviewing, tracking inventories and ordering aviation fuels and oils
• Responsible for all aspects of aircraft de-icing and pre-heating procedures
• Responsible for all Aviation Fuel Quality Control, including fuel farm and trucks
• Responsible for all Fire extinguisher training, procedures and compliance
• Responsible for overseeing all maintenance of fuel trucks, fuel farm, rental vehicles, general building & grounds maintenance
• Ensure effective use of resources throughout the department
• Guide departmental operations and personnel by way of performance reviews, training and development programs, setting and tracking goals and objectives, and promoting fiscal responsibility
• Manage internal training ensuring that employees are receiving proper training to effectively perform in their positions
• Assist President of Cook Aviation as required
• Attend and lead various strategic and informational me
Qualifications
• 5 years experience in Flight FBO required
• Must have HS Diploma/GED/HSE, prefer additional technical training• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and hazardous liquid controls• Experience using MS Office (Word, Outlook, etc. )
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (FAA, OSHA, EPA etc)
• Prior Leadership experience preferred
