Line Specialist

About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Line Specialist to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role is responsible for the organization, guidance, and training of production personnel for the panel shop. This role is considered the subject matter expert.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs as the technical specialist for their responsible area or line. Knowledge of company quality standards and procedures, including safety. Plays an integral part, as a contributor, in root cause analysis to reduce non-conformities. Works with the Production Quality Engineer and Supervisor to ensure non-conformities are properly documented. An active technician within the production process. Performs transactions in SAP as applicable. Plays an integral part of the training process for new and current associates. Ensures the flow of work and materials is according to the established production schedule. Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent in related experience.

Knowledge / training:

Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of their assigned area (required). Basic computer and data entry skills pertaining to process procedures (required). Product knowledge of WEG and 3rd party components (preferred). Ability to train new employees on assigned work instructions (required).

Experience:

3+ years of related experience in the industry.
