Position Summary

Manages dispatch coverage and implements the necessary improvements to logistics processes to enhance operations.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Establishes dispatch coverage and performs performance evaluations.Oversees communication between linehaul and internal customers.Designs and implements planning for managerial coverage and department personnel needs.Addresses service needs for customers and cross-functional teams.Monitors and manages fueling program, corporate lodging, toll passes, wait times, and delayed pay.Communicates and provides informational support for all linehaul inquiries.Trains and coaches terminals and dispatchers on best practices.Audits workflows and enforces policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field.7+ years of planning or transportation experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, dispatch software, and transportation management applications.
