Linen Attendant

Crouse’s Linen Department is hiring a Linen Attendant to maintain adequate inventory levels throughout the campus by requisitioning, receiving, unpacking, repacking, stocking, and delivering linens. Pay Range: $20.00-28.37 /hour Rotating Schedule: 12:30pm-9:00pm with weekends, holidays and other shifts assigned. Linen Attendant Position Responsibilities: + Supply linen to various hospital locations according to current par sheets, based on assigned floors + Accurately fill Scrubex Machines from supplied sets of scrubs and jackets + Supply scrub jackets to assigned locations that do not use the Scrubex + Collect all soiled linen from designated locations and supply empty soil cart in its place + Collect all soiled scrubs from machines and scrub jackets from designated “dump lockers” + Daily delivery totals for each location to be entered in the provided tablets in order to track usage and trends + Daily organization of the linen room, including FIFO method to storing vendor linen carts + Any Downtime Tasks that can be completed (separate sheet) + Assistance for teammates as needed to cover illness, vacations, heavy stock or soil load + Cross-Training as needed so that all can cover all aspects of daily linen deliveries + Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership. Linen Attendant Requirements: + High School diploma or equivalent + Associates Degree, CMRP, CLLM or MHLM certification preferred + 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
