The purpose of this position is to support and assist Housekeeping and Laundry as assigned.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Maintain all linen rooms clean, stocked and organized according to linen needsProvides Laundry Manager with inventory of linen rooms at 3pm dailyNotifies a manager promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significanceHandle guest with excellent guest relation skillsAttend all departmental meetings as scheduledPerform all duties in a timely and efficient mannerIs polite, friendly, and helpfulSupportive Functions and Responsibilities
Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all timesNotifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significanceIs polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employeesExecutes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standardsComplies with required safety regulations and proceduresAttends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessionsMaintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work areaComplies with hotel standards, policies and rulesRecycles whenever possibleRemains current with hotel information and changesComplies with hotel uniform and grooming standardsQualifications
Previous Housekeeping experience an assetBasic English skills requiredMust be able to push, pull, and lift up to 150 lbsMust be able to bend and stand for prolonged periodsMust be flexible to work weekends and holidaysPrevious Housekeeping experience is an asset
