About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Linen Room Attendant to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Sort dirty linen from chute: King sheets and king duvet covers to be counted before placing in the respective trolleys. Transport linen trolleys through the back of house areas to loading bay for collection by external Linen Company. Delivery of F&B Linen: Sorting F&B linen & recording. Counting different size tablecloths and recording. Clean table linen on shelves: Sorting Dirty Table Linen. Delivery of Rooms linen & Toweling. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and follow the Hotel and Departmental grooming standards. To respond to any changes in the department or hotel as dictated by he needs of the industry and company. To be flexible to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job as assigned by management. This could include working in other departments, to meet business demands and guest service needs. To report any complaints, accidents, equipment malfunction, maintenance faults, suspicious persons, safety hazards or other incidents immediately to the supervisor or the duty Manager. To ensure that strict control is carried out when receiving and returning work equipment. Keys or cleaning equipment. Where appropriate is responsible for the upkeep of any equipment. Loss of any piece of equipment e.g. Keys to be reported immediately to the supervisor.  On an ad hoc basis, to deliver requests to guests in an efficient and courteous manner. On an ad hoc basis, to assist with the moving of furniture and other equipment, materials and the changing of defective fixtures, fittings and soft furnishing (curtains, chairs etc.)
