From working with a team of dedicated professionals to using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll have great resources to do something incredible—for yourself, and for others **What will you be doing in this role?** The Linen Services Technician is responsible for storing, inventorying, issuing, distributing, and collecting uniforms, bed, patient, table linens across the organization and support locations for patients and ancillary services. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** + Collects, distributes, separates, and provides sufficient number of items of clean linen and uniforms. + Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability before distribution. + Stores laundered items on shelves to established par level and records items distributed. + Tracks and assembles laundered items on cart or linen truck, provisions sufficient linens and uniforms to fill requisitions and transports carts to patient floors. + Tracks linen products to identify items for replacement, replenishment of par level, and maintains linen room in clean and orderly condition. + Collects soiled linens throughout campus and support locations. + Supplies clean and collect soiled scrubs / coats from scrubEx unit and program units. + Communicates with customers, makes contact on a routine basis and works closely with lead and supervisor to improve customer service.
