Job Title: Linux Developer
Job Description

You will work in our Software team responsible for the Software Development Kit (SDK) used with all our imaging products, such as GigE cameras, 3D laser profilers, frame grabbers, and their related high-end line-scan and area-scan cameras.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop image acquisition and control APIs on Linux for Intel & ARM-based embedded platforms, such as NVIDIA.Develop kernel-level components in support of our APIs.Contribute to the development of cross-platform utilities for our SDK.Write code examples in C++ to demonstrate API functionality.Write unit and functional tests, debug functions, and document architecture and implementation.Essential SkillsProficiency in Linux, C, and C++.Strong understanding of object-oriented design and multithreading (Mutex, Semaphore).Experience with machine vision and imaging protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet).8+ years of experience in a relevant field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with frame grabbers and PCIE standards.Kernel-level experience.Embedded firmware design experience.Work Environment

You will work on-site for 5 days a week, with a 40-hour work week. There are flexible start and end times, with core hours between 10 am and 3 pm. The team is small, consisting of 4 people, with plans to grow by 3 more. The team is split between Architecture/Design at the Kernel Layer, API development, and Testing and Validation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
