Join Our Team as Linux Engineer!
Are you passionate about high-performance computing and ready to take on an exciting challenge? In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing, deploying, and supporting HPC clusters, redefining them from infancy to enterprise-level powerhouses. You'll work closely with developers to identify their needs, uncover groundbreaking solutions, and drive these solutions to production. The futures is yours to help build!
What You'll Do:
• Design & Implement: Build and support groundbreaking high-performance compute clusters.
• Innovate: Leverage a deep understanding of HPC systems, including CPU/GPU architecture, scalable storage, high-bandwidth interconnects, and cloud computing.
• Generate detailed hardware BOMs, handle vendor relationships, and coordinate hardware releases.
• Linux Expertise: Strong Linux skills to configure operating systems tailored for HPC.
• Project Management: Compile project specs and performance requirements, ensuring accurate completion of achievements.
• Product Support: Assist in the design and release of new products, providing outstanding golden images, procedures, scripts, and documentation.
• EOL Management: Lead re-qualification of end-of-life parts for long-term deployments.
• Customer Support: Address in-house and in-field customer concerns with expertise and care.
What We're Looking For:
• Linux Mastery: Validated, in-depth knowledge of Linux systems (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu).
• Storage Savvy: Experience in crafting and maintaining robust storage solutions.
• HPC Hardware Guru: Solid understanding of servers, GPUs, networking, storage, schedulers, BIOS, and BMC.
• Tech Skills: Experience with System-D, Net boot/PXE, Linux HA, and TCP/IP protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP).
• Coding Proficiency: Ability to develop Shell and Python scripts.
• Experience with tools like Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Puppet.
• Problem Solver: Inquisitive, challenge-loving individuals with excellent written and verbal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
