Job Description

Future tasks:

Support development of new Linux OS features, contributing to high-profile enterprise open-source projects of strategic importance.Work with team to ensure compliance, security and alignment with enterprise-related functionalities (e.g. integration into Active Directory, certificate enrollment, infrastructure ... etc.)Manage development, maintenance, and distribution of Ubuntu packages using dpkg and APT. Ensure packages are stable and compatible across Ubuntu systems.Server infrastructure managementAutomate test components, code linting and improve CI/CD delivery pipelineParticipate actively in developer forums and communitiesPerform peer code reviews, documentation, architecture diagrams and champion clean coding practices.

QualificationsDeep Linux OS knowledge in the area of kernel, file systems, device driver, networking, security, user interface, systemd, daemons, etc.High level scripting languages like Python, Bash.Server management, including monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.Virtualization and Container technology, e.g. Docker, VMware, etc.Continuous Integration / Delivery JenkinsConfiguration management, e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.Git knowledge.Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation writing.Fluency in English
