What You’ll Doas aTier I Linux Systems Administrator: + Providefirst-line technical supportfor software, hardware, network infrastructure, and system security within a Linux HPC environment. + Address and resolveuser issuesrelated to HPC system operations and maintenance with professionalism and efficiency. + Assist Senior Systems Administrators inoptimizing hardware and software performance. + Manage and maintainLinux user accounts, triaging Tier 1 tickets, and producingservice ticket reports. + Collaborate with the Linux SA and engineering teams toinstall, configure, and test HPC components, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. + Performhardware replacements, managebackup solutions, and implement security measures to maintain compliance with all program requirements. + Work with network personnel to configure equipment, ensure network security, and manage firewalls. + Adhere to establishedIT policies, processes, and procedureswhile effectively managing changing priorities. Job Requirements What You’ll Bring to the Role + ActiveTop Secret clearancewithSCI eligibility. + Bachelor's degreein a STEM field and or 8-10 years of experience in lieu of a degree). + CurrentIAT II Certification(e.g., Security+ CE). + Strongbash scripting skillsand familiarity with Linux operating systems. + Exceptionalcustomer serviceand communication skills. + Experience withVMware vSphere 6+,Kubernetes, containerized technologies,Ansible, andPostgreSQL. + Knowledge of theRisk Management Framework (RMF)and expertise in securing and hardening Linux systems to meet RMF controls. + Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. + Experience with tools likeCUDA,Google TensorFlow, or similar frameworks. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
