HOW A LINUX SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systemsContribute to completion of specific engineering programs and projectsDevelop solutions to a variety of complex engineering problemsPerform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the endOversee complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management toolsPerform complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysisPrepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projectsMaintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technologyWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
EDUCATION: BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of related experience
CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance required and able to pass a CI polygraph
REQUIRED SKILLS: Linux systems administration
DESIRED SKILLS: A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:
