JOB SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to maintain Arc3 Gases’ liquid cylinder fleet. RESPONSIBILITIES + Transport cylinders to and from storage or sorting areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles using a forklift. + Assess liquid cylinders to determine necessary repairs. + Work with a variety of hand tools. + Bench test pressure components. + Fill repaired cylinders with cryogenic liquid to perform post-repair operating and leak tests. + Enter details of repairs into computer system. + Operate cylinder buffing machine. + Maintain inventory of repair parts. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Support fellow members of the Gas Plant team and perform other related duties as required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE + High school diplomas or equivalent is required. + Forklift license preferred. + Self-motivated. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Stand and walk for eight-hour periods. + Bend at the waist and knees frequently. + Use full body force to tighten ratchet straps frequently. + Loud noise levels. + Exposed to all weather conditions.
