Liquid Terminal Operator

Be familiar with and understand all applicable Coast Guard regulations. Complete all Coast Guard Documentation to include DOS'S and DOI'S. Complete all paperwork associated with liquid bulk transfers. Operate a stationary crane. Connect and disconnect cargo hoses to ships and barges Monitor the transfer of liquid material between marine vessels and the Terminal Assure the safety of all personnel in the area while conducting material transfers Must learn pipeline operations through on the job training and testing prior to operating pipeline. Maintain a clean and safe work environment including but not limited to: proper storage of tools, hoses, and acid suits, cleanliness of work area, proper wear of all personal protective equipment, immediately containing and reporting any spills or unsafe conditions. Attend daily, weekly and monthly safety meetings. Report all accidents, incidents and near misses to the foreman or management. Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for all employees and visitors.
