What is the opportunity?

As a Manager in Corporate Treasury APAC, you will be a part of a team of liquidity risk professionals who contribute to RBC’s control framework and influence the operating model. You will be analysing liquidity metrics and preparing reporting for key internal and regulatory stakeholders. This role provides exposure to several business leaders and allows you to develop deeper understanding of liquidity risk and financial markets.

What will you do?

Perform regulatory and internal liquidity measurement reporting and analysis using recognised reporting toolsDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of internal and regulatory liquidity requirements across the APAC regionBuild an understanding of liquidity risk profiles of several financial productsSupport communications with regulators and central banks as requiredPrepare or contribute to papers presented to senior management committeesSupport delivery of a diverse range of projects spanning liquidity & funding, interest rate risk and balance sheet optimizationSupport system and process changes, including thorough involvement in user acceptance testing to enable high quality deliverables

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Strong understanding of financial markets products, businesses and strategiesExcellent written / oral communication skillsAnalytical, strategic mind-set and enjoy problem solvingAttention to detailBe able to manage competing priorities effectively & efficientlyThorough working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applicationsUndergraduate degree in commerce/finance

Nice-to-have

Proficiency with technology (Tableau, VBA, SQL)Knowledge of RBC financial systems and associated procedures
