Description We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join a friendly team in Muncie, Indiana. The role will involve working on diverse matters related to injury defense. The position is part of a boutique national practice law firm and requires skills in Litigation, Legal Research, and Federal Court proceedings. Responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation + Manage litigation processes in federal courts + Develop defense strategies for fireworks injury cases and other related matters + Collaborate with the team to ensure client needs are met and legal advice is sound and practical + Monitor and manage multiple client cases simultaneously + Engage in continuous detail oriented development to stay abreast of changes in law and industry practices + Draft legal documents and prepare reports as required + Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate on their behalf + Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their case and legal rights. Requirements • Must be licensed • Demonstrated experience in Litigation is crucial • Proficiency in Legal Research is mandatory • Experience in Federal Court proceedings is essential • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines • Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications • Must adhere to detail oriented ethical standards • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
