An established insurance defense firm is expanding their practice and hiring 2-3 additional Litigation Attorneys in New York, 10105. Compensation is estimated between $150,000.00 – $200,000.00

This position is 100% remote but does require an attorney to be within a reasonable commuting distance of the 5 boroughs.

About the law firm: An established law firm that is rapidly expanding within insurance defense. The firm currently boasts approximately 30 attorneys and is expanding their defense department significantly within the next 1-2 years. Organized, tech focused with a stable client base.

About the position: This is a remote attorney position for the Manhattan area. This position requires insurance defense knowledge and some litigation experience. The firm will provide a laptop and other equipment as well as training (if needed). Compensation is based on insurance defense and litigation or trial experience. The firm handles such cases as personal injury, product liability, 1st party property, 2nd party property, 3rd party property, construction and similar. Attorneys must be comfortable going to court, attending hearings and have an interest in trial work.

Minimum Requirements
2+ years of insurance defense experience
A minimum of 1 year of recent litigation experience
Must be able to commute within the 5 borough area (hearings, etc)
Experience meeting billable hour requirements
