Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in all aspects of litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex cases, conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents. The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to ensure the effective preparation and management of cases, from initial filing through trial.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

 

Assist the legal team with all aspects of litigation management including assisting with document gathering, fact finding and witness coordinationMaintain and organize legal data and information in matter management and e-billing tool (CSC).Review, code, and track legal invoices.Manage the litigation hold process.Coordinate and manage eDiscovery processes, including gathering, reviewing, and organizing evidence.Conduct legal research and fact investigations as assignedDrafts and prepares correspondence and other written documents as required.Communicate with clients to gather information and keep them informed about case progress.Schedule and coordinate interviews, depositions, and meetings with clients, witnesses, and experts.Handle routine administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and managing deadlines.Handle settlement processing.Support quarterly and annual litigation reporting to executive team, auditors and other stakeholders by synthesizing and analyzing data, coordinating input from legal team members and drafting reports.Coordinate and work with internal clients (at all levels in the organization), outside counsel, and vendors (including those associated with electronic discovery) and others associated with litigation mattersCollaborates with attorneys and business partners to gather information from clients and othersAnalyze and respond to subpoenas or other requests for information.

 

Qualifications

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a proven track record of handling a broad range of litigation matters.Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software (CSC).Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills including interacting effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Skillfully work with Microsoft Office including OneDrive, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other applications and tools such as Adobe AcrobatSound discretion and judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentialityA positive attitude and genuine desire to be a team player willing to assist with other assignments, projects, cases and matters within the Litigation & Employment Group.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines with strong time management skillsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $86,000 - $117,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
