Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a defense firm in Orlando, FL. The Litigation Paralegal will manage various litigation files from start to finish. This opportunity is direct hire, full-time, and hybrid after the training period.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide litigation support for defense casesAssist with the preparation and electronic filing of pleadings and discoveryAnalyze, review, and organize documents and data produced during discoveryPrepare document production, responses to discovery requests, and deposition summariesPrepare records and deposition subpoenasManage a caseload efficiently to meet billable hour requirements (around 1500 hours annually)Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesFamiliarity with State and Federal Courts, including filing proceduresExperienced in electronic document discovery and database managementKnowledgeable in discovery tasks and trial preparationProficient in litigation software

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experienceParalegal certification preferred Minimum of three years of litigation paralegal experienceDefense civil litigation experience preferred

Compensation:

Up to $70,000 annually
