Job Summary:

A client in the Middle East is seeking an outstanding House Manager candidate to assist their growing estate in Dubai. The family, consisting of two adults and two teenage children are relocating to a newly built property and are looking to hire a House Manager who can lead the way in ensuring the home runs as smoothly as possible. At this time, they need a top-class coordinator to assist in this process and meet their requirements in managing the busy household. Someone in tune with managing a small but efficient number of staff in a very high end, high standard’s household, with a flourish for providing the best service and traditional experience for the family and guests.

Job specification: 

Coordinating the move from their old home to their new home Utilise your experience setting up new homes to achieve the ideal environment as per the client’s preferences Implementing SOPs for the home Handling household budgets & finances Building relationships with service providers and contractors Responsible for appointment of staff members Ongoing responsibility for staffing development Shopping for household needs/equipment Assisting with packing and unpacking for travel

Candidate specification:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience setting up private households from scratch, creating and implementing policies and procedures which adhere to the client’s preferences As the first key member of staff, you will need to have a hands-on approach and willing to roll up your sleeves Previous experience in a similar role within the Middle East is an advantage, at a minimum, you must be familiar with middle eastern culture Proven experience transitioning a client through a household move Team player and effective manager with experience building and nurturing a new team off staff Strong communication skills Longevity in previous roles Flexible to an evolving role Must be discreet Non-smoker

Accommodation:

Separate apartment provided (away from the main house and staff apartment). The role is also available to candidates who live locally
