Job Summary:
We are working with a lovely family in Notting Hill who are looking for an energetic, flexible and experienced live in Housekeeper (child friendly) to join their busy household. The main focus of this role is to manage all the housekeeping duties with precision and attention to detail. In addition to the Housekeeping duties, the role will also involve assisting with school drop off and pick up as and when needed, working collaboratively with the parents and the childrens afternoon Nanny. The family are looking for someone who is proactive, discreet and hard working. The ideal candidate must have good English communication skills.
Job specification:
• Cleaning and tidying
• Organising the home
• Laundry and wardrobe management
• Running errands – grocery shopping
• Meal preparation – prepare breakfast for the family, family dinners once or twice per week, coordinate school lunch boxes with the afternoon nanny.
• Pet care – family have a English Springer Spaniel and cat – walking the dog, managing pet supplies, cleaning litter box, arranging vet appointments
• Coordinating with tradespeople
• Maintaining household systems
• School drop and pick up as and when needed
• Willing to provide some evening babysitting
Candidate specification:
• Experience within a similar position
• Someone proactive, discreet and hard working
• Able to travel with the family for extended periods – Sweden and France
• Strong values to model for the children. Good at teamwork, kind, positive attitude
• Driver would be a bonus but not essential
• Able to provide excellent references
• Pet friendly – family have a dog and cat
• Work well as a team with parents and afternoon nanny
Accommodation: Spacious private bedroom with en-suite on the lower ground floor of the family’s home
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
