Job Summary:
My client is a principal who has a weekend house in the stunning countryside of Wiltshire! They are looking for a Housekeeper who is happy to work Thursday to Monday as the Housekeeper Cook in this residence. The principal has two teenage children who visit every few weekends and two dogs within the property. The household consists of a domestic couple who will live in a separate cottage as a gardener and a PA, therefore it is a fully staffed home.
They are looking for a Housekeeper Cook to do the food shopping on a Thursday before they arrive to the house and cooking for the principal and children throughout the weekend, they do not require any particular cuisine or do fine dining, they only look for nice food and family style meals, also cooking for dinner parties on a Saturday when required. Throughout the rest of the week, general housekeeping of mopping, hoovering and tidying up is required.
They would ideally want a driver for this role and someone who is pet friendly. The perfect candidate would be someone who is very personable and easy to be around, with great communication. They have a very laidback household and it is very informal. The Housekeeper Cook has their own cottage on the grounds with 1 bedroom, and the family would be happy to accommodate for a dependency of a cat.
