Job Summary:
We are seeking a Live-In Housekeeper/Companion in a 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. The role involves general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, washing, tidying, and deep cleaning, as well as managing laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization. The housekeeper will be responsible for preparing dinner and ensuring the home is organized and welcoming, with floral arrangements on the table to add a pleasant touch.
The ideal candidate will be a good cook, proactive, and able to drive. The household has wood flooring and a simple, comfortable atmosphere. The principle has her own bathroom, while the housekeeper will use the other bathroom.
This role offers 2 days off per week and includes a room within the home for the housekeeper’s accommodation and will have their own sitting room outside of the bedroom. The position also involves providing companionship. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and experienced individual who is comfortable with a live-in arrangement and is dedicated to maintaining a warm, efficient, and organized home.

General housekeeping duties including cleaning, washing, and tidying Organizing and maintaining a tidy, efficient home environment Shopping for ingredients Ensuring stock is fresh and fit for consumption and kept at acceptable levels Keeping track of kitchen supplies Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen Must be able cook, with the ability to prepare healthy, delicious meals for the client and occasional visitors.Candidate specification:
Proactive, friendly, and reliable Must be self-driven, organised and able to work in home where the principles are not in full time residence Skilled in housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation Good communication skills. Discreet and professional Confident cook and confident with all aspects of general housekeeping Driver’s licence is needed, there is a car which could be used.
