Job Summary:
My client is a family of 5 looking for a Live in Nanny to work within their private household. The candidate needs to be very happy and comfortable living and working in the countryside. Due to the location of the family, a confident driver is a must as a car is required to get to nearby shops.
The role would consist of sole charge of the three young children. (The two eldest are in school, with the youngest not yet at nursery). The Nanny would be happy to drop the children off at school, and collect them for pickups Monday to Friday. The role would involve making nutritious dinners for the children, assisting with their homework, and managing bed/bath after school.
The candidate needs to be a confident driver and happy to be around dogs, although there is no dog care involved. They are looking for a candidate who is a very warm and friendly individual with a muck in attitude!
Salary: £40,000+, happy to flex the salary for the right fit]
Job specification:
• Picking up and dropping children off at school
• Prepare healthy and nutritious dinners for the children (an added bonus if the
candidate is happy to cook for the parents on occasion)
• Batch cooking for the weekend
• Assisting with homework and music studies
• Getting the children ready for bed, and bathtime
• Reading the children stories and helping them with reading
• Organising fun and educational activities for the children
• Proxy-parenting 1-2 times a year
• Happy to muck in with housekeeping (children specic)
• Open to travelling with the family (optional)
Candidate specification:
• 3+ years experience on working with a private household, ideally 5+ years
• A nurturing, caring demeanor, a super friendly individual
• Looking for a live in position in this particular location
• A confident driver with a clean British licence (comfortable driving a larger car)
• Strong swimmer
• Dog friendly
• Experience with allergies
• Happy to live in the rural countryside
• Background checks and references required, as well as a First Aid
