A family located in the southeast Buckinghamshire area is looking for a qualified nanny to join their family to care for their children on a sole charge basis. The older children will be at school during the day and the youngest is a nursery three mornings a week (can do additional hours).
Because the children are at full time education/part time nursery, the parents are happy for the working hours to corporate significant personal time during the day.
During the school holidays the family do travel (nanny not required to travel but a bonus if they are able to) and the older children do also attend camps/playdates.
The family is looking for someone who is professional, independent, calm and kind. This is a busy household with two working parents (working from home sometimes but leave the nanny to it), so are looking for someone who is organised.
Job specification:
• Getting the oldest ready for school (parents generally do school run)
• Getting the youngest up and giving them breakfast
• Attending and arranging different groups, activities, playdates and doing activities with children
• Playing with the children, going to the park, doing arts and crafts or arranging day trips
• Overseeing the oldest children with their homework
• Laundry, fixing clothing and wardrobe management for the children
• Making sure the children’s bedroom, bathrooms and playrooms are tidied, cleaned, and organised
• Preparing bags and uniform for the next day
• Preparing meals for the children and healthy snacks
• Tidying up after breakfast
• Child related PA duties e.g. arranging parties, managing the children’s diary and activities for them
Accommodation: Separate high quality modern apartment – bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen
Candidate specification:
• A driver is required (occasional use of car for personal use may be possible)
• A fluent English speaker
• Someone who holds a childcare qualification
• Someone who is professional and can manage their day
• Looking for a long-term position as the family would like someone to grow with the family
• Experience working with multiple children is required
• Calm, patient, kind disposition
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
