Job Summary:
Are you an experienced, professional Housekeeper looking for a unique opportunity to manage a beautiful, large household? We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to work on a stunning 6-bedroom horse farm in Surrey, where you’ll help maintain a high standard of care and organisation. This position offers a chance to work in a friendly, team-oriented environment with other staff, including grooms, gardeners, and an estate manager.
Salary:
Live in – £45,000 to £50,000 gross per annum
Live out – £54,600 to £59,800 gross per annum
Job specification:
• Cleaning and tidying of the home, including six ensuite bedrooms
• Managing household operations to ensure a smooth-running home
• Laundry and ironing, including care for fine fabrics
• Organising the home and ensuring everything is in its place
• School run for two daughters (ages 14 and 15) – driving required (own car, mileage reimbursed)
• Dog walking when the principal is unavailable
• Assisting with various household tasks and supporting the family as needed
Candidate specification:
• Must have a valid driving license and own vehicle – clean and clear licence essential
• Pet-friendly (experience with dogs and cats a must) – dogs are large and athletic breed
• Confident and experienced with laundry, including fine fabrics is essential
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
• Friendly, self-assured, and able to fit in with an existing team of six other staff members
• Discreet, with a good sense of when to be present and when to step back in a busy, international business environment
• Must enjoy being part of a friendly, collaborative team with a focus on creating a warm and professional atmosphere in the home
Accommodation: Separate self contained flat – 2 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room
