SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to insure the production of quality feed and support all other support functions associated with feed manufacturing. The incumbent will be proficient in operation, receiving, panel, dispatch, feed scheduling and the food safety plan. Work hours will be 8:00am-4:00p.m while in training, these hours may need to be adjusted after training is complete.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitor and maintain the pelleting equipment to include sampling and equipment maintenance. Stock and inventory micro ingredient and finish feed. Maintain work area to comply with housekeeping and safety programs Maintain associated paperwork to avid errors. Perform any other duties as outlined by management and necessary for operation. Perform all hourly, daily equipment checks. Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or GED
Experience RequirementsWorked a minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer in the past 3 years. Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to perform basic math functions to create accurate reports and maintain inventory levels.
Experience PreferredExperience in maintenance and mechanical functions.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Position is exposed to environmental temperatures to include extreme cold, heat and humidity. Position works in a dusty and odorous environment associated with feed mill manufacturing. Must be able to navigate uneven terrain. Must be able to climb steps and ladders.
