Live Out Housekeeper Job in Weybridge, Surrey

A warm family is looking for a caring and experienced Housekeeper to help them with their two-storey home. This is a family of four, with a 16-year-old boy in boarding school and a grown-up 20-year-old daughter who lives abroad and pays occasional visits. A nice large-sized dog rounds out the family.

They have delicate surfaces in their home, such as stone, granite, and brass, and it is furnished with contemporary furnishings as well as ancient artefacts and artwork, so it is critical that you have previously worked with similar materials and finishes and have product knowledge. They entertain three to four times a year, so flexibility is required.

The family employs another Housekeeper that you will work alongside.

Duties to include:

Cleaning, laundry and ironing

Making beds

Keeping stock of household supplies

Receiving deliveries

Running errands

Sorting and sending clothing to the dry cleaners

Wardrobe management

Letting pets out into the garden

Feeding pets

Property: 2 floors, 5 bedrooms

Working days: Monday-Friday

Hours: Shifts 8am-5pm and 11am-8pm, alternating every week with another Housekeeper.

Salary: £45-£50k depending on experience.
