Live Out Rota Housekeeper job in Holland Park, West London

A family with 3 children are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to help in their fully staffed formal household. Completing the family are 6 pet dogs.

It is a formally run multiple-staffed household and you will be working alongside 4 full time Housekeepers and will report to the Head Housekeeper.

Duties will include but may not be limited to:

Cleaning – including polishing and care of fine furniture

Laundry and ironing – including hand washing and care for delicate clothing

Flower arranging

Breakfast preparation

Turn down service

Travelling with the principals - 2-3 times a year for up to 3 weeks at each time

Help with packing and unpacking 

The ideal candidate for this role will have high attention to detail and be energetic, professional, happy to work in a team, an excellent communicator and child- and pet-friendly. 

House: house with 10 bedrooms over 5 floors

Working days: 5 days per week  with 2 consecutive days off (1 guaranteed weekend off per month)

Working  hours: 45 hours per week with 9 hours per day including a 1-hour lunch break. Shifts patterns: 8 am - 5 pm; 9 am - 6 pm; 10 am - 7 pm and 1 pm - 10 pm - you must be able and willing to work all four shift patterns

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 gross per annum
