This position’s role is to manage and improve live production processes and research programs.  The processes include both feed mills and live operation SOP’s.  The position will monitor and update relative SOP’s to ensure that we are in compliance with our various compliance programs, i.e. Feed mill QA programs, Safe Foods/Safe Feeds, OHC, BRC, etc.  This position will also manage the live production research program.  This includes the scheduling and ensure all related documentation in completed for all trials.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

Review of program compliance, ensuring that both feed mills and Live Operations are in compliance of all Standard Operating Procedures(SOP's) Managing research program, including scheduling, and ensuring proper documentation is completed for all trials. Compiling and communicating reports of trials. SOP Review and updating, careful monitoring of QA Programs, Safe Food/Safe Feeds, OHC, BRC, etc., making adjustments as needed. Participation in Audits, Internal and External Facility Visits, onsite evaluations of procedure and policies protocols being followed.

Education / Experience Requirements

BS in Agricultural Field Preferred 5 to 7 years’ experience

Knowledge/ Experience of Trials Design and Statistical Analysis. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal. Capable of entering all production facilities, 10-15% travel to remote locations.
