Job Title: Livestock Handler- Cattle ReceiverLocation: Green Bay, WIReporting to: Barn Supervisor Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Livestock Handler. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive and receive cattle in our barn facility while ensuring the welfare of the livestock and maintaining a safe working environment. Key Responsibility:Follow all safety protocols and company animal well-being guidelinesLoad, unload, sort, move and pend livestockMaintain cleanliness of the facility by performing general upkeep and cleaning tasksInteract courteously and professionally with producers, drivers and team membersOperate equipment such as skid loaders as needed.Skills and Qualifications:Basic Reading and writing skills in the English language Strong interpersonal and teamwork skillsSafety- conscious with the ability to follow verbal and written instructionsPrior livestock handling experience required.Physical Requirements:Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, lift and graspMust be able to lift up to 50lbs frequentlyWork in various weather conditions and environments, including dusty areas and around livestock Must pass a company-administered animal handling test to ensure proper care and management of livestock.
