**Description** **Job Title:** Livestock Handler- Cattle Receiver **Location:** Green Bay, WI **Reporting to:** Barn Supervisor **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Livestock Handler. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive and receive cattle in our barn facility while ensuring the welfare of the livestock and maintaining a safe working environment. **Key Responsibility** : + Follow all safety protocols and company animal well-being guidelines + Load, unload, sort, move and pend livestock + Maintain cleanliness of the facility by performing general upkeep and cleaning tasks + Interact courteously and professionally with producers, drivers and team members + Operate equipment such as skid loaders as needed. **Skills and Qualifications** : + Basic Reading and writing skills in the English language + Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills + Safety- conscious with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions + Prior livestock handling experience required. **Physical Requirements** : + Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, lift and grasp + Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently + Work in various weather conditions and environments, including dusty areas and around livestock + Must pass a company-administered animal handling test to ensure proper care and management of livestock. **JBS is an equal opportunity employer.** **EOE/ Vets/Disability**
