Livestock Monitoring Lead - LATAM Region

Job Description

The Livestock Monitoring Lead – LATAM is a fundamental role in accelerating the execution of the technology solutions strategy and driving business results in the region. This position ensures the effective deployment of livestock monitoring solutions by aligning global, regional and local market teams, optimizing resources, and enhancing customer success.

Focused on achieving business objectives, the Lead drives strategic initiatives, fosters collaboration across functions, and identifies growth opportunities to maximize impact. By ensuring seamless execution and market readiness, this role is essential to accelerating and strengthening the company’s leadership in livestock monitoring across LATAM.    

This role requires a highly motivated leader who is passionate about advancing animal health through technology solutions and maximizing synergies across species to deliver comprehensive, integrated solutions for customers.        

                                                                                         

Key Responsibilities:

Lead collaboration and alignment with Regional and Market Leadership teams to execute on the Global Livestock Monitoring strategic plan. Setting priorities for the region, leveraging resources, tracking outcomes, and holding markets accountable to delivery timelines.

Collaboration with local market Customer Success Teams to continuously upskill, exchange best practices and share insights to enhance customer success initiatives.

Build excellence in knowledge and proficiencies within the LATAM region, through structured learning programs, technical resources and modules, and adhoc development opportunities within country teams.

Working closely with markets to identify opportunities for product development, market support studies or strategic initiatives in the region for global review and/or for in region implementation.

Collaboration with the Global Technology Support Team to ensure seamless resolution of technical cases that are escalated from dealer network or by Tier 1/2 technical in market teams.

Close collaboration with Regional and Market Leadership teams on strategic initiatives, including business development opportunities and synergies between Technology and Biopharma.

Work with Global teams to ensure alignment of projects across the wider business and collaborate, were necessary, on cross-regional projects and act as the key point of contact for Global Monitoring, R&D and Customer Success/Aftersales teams.

Keep abreast of economic, business and political trends or events in the LATAM region relevant to the organization, which may impact commercial activities.

Ensure all company resources are effectively, efficiently and profitably utilized.

Mandatory Knowledge, Experience and Education:

Bachelor's degree in any area, but professionals from Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Zootechny, Marketing, Administration and other Business-related areas are also welcome.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Needs to have fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish and advanced proficiency in English.

Solid prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in customer success, customer training, account management, or similar positions.

Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional and cross-species teams across diverse geographical locations.

Well-developed strategic and innovative thinking to contribute and execute organizational vision.

Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Enthusiastic self-starter who demonstrates high levels of drive and energy and who embraces networking to discover and develop opportunities.

Business acumen and marketing abilities.

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of solutions while maintaining high quality.

Resilience and persistence: capable of navigating challenges and maintaining focus on long-term adoption goals.

Knowledge of the dairy livestock industry including understanding of dairy reproduction, cow health, nutrition and milk quality.

25% travel availability needed.

Location: Latin America, the person selected for this role will be hired at his/hers current country, working remotely with the LATAM team.
