The key responsibilities for you as Carrier Manager include:

Working closely with LLP Operations, Planning, central PCM teams and the customer to identify and secure the most suitable, cost effective mode of transportation service provider for each country, region and lane.   

To assume account responsibility to ensure KPI's for carriers are recorded and reported accurately and to support the development of effective corrective actions plans to achieve this in a timely manner.    

Responsible for ensuring KPI reports are shared with carriers on the regularity agreed locally and for establishing a carrier partnership review process. 

Responsible for the identification and development of new carriers to ensure capacity, cost competitive and service delivery.

Ensure that carriers go through the LLP approval process and are 100% compliant with LLPs and customers compliance requirements, including but not limited to: H Quality; Security; Operational and Corporate compliance and are on-boarded in line with LLP contractual obligations.            

Responsibility for ensuring carriers achieve contractual service requirements or to make compelling recommendations for replacing the nominated carrier.       

Have ownership of the carrier strategy for the contract-Short, medium, long term objectives; feeding it and aligning  to procurement activities. 

Requirements for the Job

English Skills Fluent

Diploma/ Certificate in Logistics/ Freight Forwarding

Supplier Management; Carrier Management and /or Supplier Relationship management programs   

At least 5 years Management experience in Freight Forwarding and or a logistics environment experience  multi modal transport operations (Courier, Road, Air & Sea), freight forwarding - DGF / Express / Freight  

Customer relationship management skills 

Senior Account Management experience 

Demonstrable record of service improvement through innovationExperience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division
