We fill physician, nurse practitioner, and mental health professional openings at hospitals, clinics, and various other facilities for both short and long term contracts. We’re currently seeking a LPC/LMHC/LMFT/LMSW to fill an opening with a treatment Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 Details –

Competitive Pay Location – Albuquerque, New Mexico 13 week Contract – options to potentially extend Full-time schedule 5×8 Schedule M-F Every 5th Saturday will be Tue-Sat One shift a week will work until 7pm Start Date – End of September or early October 2024 Credentialing estimate – 2-3 weeks Malpractice coverage provided

Cases and Procedures:

Provide mental/behavioral healthcare for individuals with mental health concerns, substance use issues, cognitive disabilities, and other conditions. Evaluate patients’ physical or mental conditions. Treat patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and correctional/forensic facilities, using a multidisciplinary approach. Provide individual and group therapeutic services. Offer targeted counseling to help individuals overcome mental health concerns or substance abuse issues. Stay updated on the latest counseling methodologies to provide the best possible care. Refer patients to other mental healthcare or medical providers as necessary. Develop and implement treatment plans. Provide a range of brief prevention, treatment, and recovery services, as well as long-term treatment and support. Document progress notes, assessments, and treatment activities. Knowledgeable in treatments such as dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and complicated grief. Maintain confidentiality of patient records. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications –

Active/Unrestricted New Mexico License BLS Certification
