Job DescriptionThe Live Missions Operation Network (LMON) System Administrator/Local Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for administration, maintenance, of client/server architecture used to support the development, testing, and delivery of enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services.
Candidate will be part of a team that performs system engineering, system integration, hardware support, and technical and administrative support services for LMON-connected systems. Candidate will provide IT services and support baseline updates, installation services, and system administration services. Candidate will provide services for any and all phases of system engineering, integration and support to ensure customers meet mission goals and objectives. These efforts include the full range of infrastructure design, implementation and integration, including, but not limited to, concept development, planning, requirements definition and analysis, systems design, integration, testing, implementation, deployment, support and sustainment. Ability to track inventory and produce accurate reports.
• Experience with Linux, Microsoft Windows 10, Server 2012 and 2016, as well as experience working in Virtualized environments (i.e., VMware)
• Experience with Active Directory
• Experienced with Remedy, Service Now, or other incident management system.
• Experienced with help desk troubleshooting protocols.
• Experienced resolving basic technical issues by providing scripted guidance regarding software and hardware problems.
• Experience resolving more complex technical problems through a defined escalation process
• Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities.
• Experience installing release upgrades.
• Experience in asset management or similar position.
• Working knowledge of inventory management
• Ability to track inventory and produce accurate reports.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail.
• Must have Security + or any certification identified in DoD 8570 IAT Level II
• 0 years of experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
