Our major client is seeking a LMS Administrator to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX for a 12-month assignment.
High-Level Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Workday Learning (WDL) System for GTM and its data integrity. The Training and Development Advisor will provide technical expertise in managing the WDL data, training schedule, records keeping and course offerings. This position will represent and be the key GTM liaison to the enterprise WDL Learning Partner community.
Specific Accountabilities Learning Management System: LMS point of contact for GTM Perform Workday Learning system functions that align with the Learning Partner capabilities: Create/manage course information Enroll others in course Drop enrollment Mark grades & completions Create/manage equivalencies Create/manage prerequisites Manage instructors/assessors Manage/create course offerings Run reports Test new digital courses prior to adding them to the Production environment Support audits and provide reports for regulatory requirements, as required Maintain integrity of the data within the Learning Management System Attend, participate and represent GTM in the weekly enterprise Learning Partner meetings Work with HR Solutions in the creation of campaigns, as required Provide technical support and coaching with GTM Learning Coordinators and Learning Advisors on the use of the Learning Management system Supporting Technical Training Group and Business Clients: Respond to business clients inquiry on their learning Provide, direct and/or assist business clients with their training reports Assist with coordinating training events, vendor coordination, facilities, training materials and equipment Assist Learning Advisors with blueprint creation and audience identifications Assist in maintaining team SharePoint sites and team folders, as required Identify and implement process improvement to increase system efficiency Identify methods that will improve the overall team efficiency Develop and maintain a Technical Training Process Library Scope/Dimensions The Training and Development Advisor is required to work interdependently and provide organizational leadership to field employees regarding LMS systems and administration. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities University/Technical school degree/diploma or equivalent experience is required. 7+ years of experience as a Learning Administrator with solid hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems is required. Good working knowledge of Workday Learning LMS is an asset. Experience with process mapping is an asset. Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC: Time management skills are essential. Experience with LMS and server environments. Experience with Microsoft Excel and creating custom reports with Excel. Working effectively in a team environment, including the ability to work with little guidance and respond promptly and effectively to unexpected demands. Familiarity with Gas Transmission and Storage Operations Related university degree and 4+ years experience, or 8+ years of directly related field operations experience, or equivalent mix of formal education and experience Experience with the administration and use of learning management systems. Able to solve problems by applying standard procedures, modifications of standard procedures, or using methods developed in previous assignment. Ability to work independently and manage their time, approach to problems, and work priorities Knowledge and experience in the coordination of management of change activities related to training programs. Broad business and technical knowledge in resolving problems, project management, identifying opportunities and has a keen awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Competent user of Microsoft Office Programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
