WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Ensure positive and creative environment for management teamAssist in maintaining department manuals and training materials for all production positionsDevelop and maintain department manuals and training materials for all production positionsAssist and support production department personnel with job functions as neededAssist in creating budgetary requirements and tracking the financial aspects of departmentCreate and maintain daily band cost spreadsheetCreate and maintain inventory and maintenance logEnsure all procedures are cost effectiveCreates daily and weekly show scheduleAssist in scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelinesMaintain regular communications with Venue and Corporate ManagementFacilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organizationAssist in Managing stage, sound, and lighting crewsCoordinate operational feedback with Talent BuyerAdvance technical details for shows/eventsAssist with the maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video and CD-Rom systems advising on repairs when neededAdvance food and beverage/hospitality requirementsEnsure information is distributed to Operations Managers in a timely basisResponsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipmentAdvise on design and purchase of site lighting systems (patio, restaurant, etc.)Attends production and operations meeting as outlined by Talent BuyerMaintain “past show” filesMaintain accurate vendor records, following Purchase Ordering SystemsResponsible for documenting and delivering disciplinary actions to production crew

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

Flexible Schedule (days/nights, late hours, weekends, and holidays)Minimum 3 years prior management experience in an entertainment venue3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experienceExperience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systemsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited informationComputer literate in Windows applicationsMust possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skillsHigh School DiplomaTolerance of all cultures, music and art forms

Preferred:

Some College or College Degree in related fieldPoint of Sales knowledgeBehavioral Based Interviewing SkillsInterest in Night LifeCash handling experienceExperience recognizing valid ID'sExperience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

Working environment is fast-paced and often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 75 lbs using proper lifting techniquesTolerance of loud noise level in working environmentAble to wear a radio earpiece during the scheduled shift
