THE JOB

The Director of Food & Beverage will support overall coordination, administration and direction of all Food and Beverage activities in coordination with the SVP and in alignment with the mission and objectives and in full accordance with all policies and procedures.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Provide F&B leadership and direction at owned and operated venues resulting in a superior guest experience satisfaction and financial resultsWork with operations teams at owned and operated venues to assist in planning and preparation for shows. Is on site for regularly and works closely with the operations team and concessionaires for set up, signage, pricing, staffing and execution of all F&B programs.Partner with SVP of Food & Beverage and Regional F&B Directors on development of industry leading F&B initiatives, programs and productsWork directly with the SVP of Food & Beverage in the continuous development of new products, systems and programs towards  improving per person spending and increasing Fan satisfactionInitiate the development of new and analyzes existing programs and special promotions that will improve Fan patronage, frequency of return and average spend under the guidelines of Company’s policiesWork closely with sponsorship in implementing and executing all F&B sponsorships maximizing sponsor and Fan satisfaction while enforcing all applicable laws and regulations governing sponsorship in particular alcoholic sponsorshipsWork closely with local, state and governmental organizations in enforcing all applicable liquor laws.Supervise the handling of all guest complaints in the food and beverage areas at the festivalsDemonstrate and instill a sense of character, integrity and quality to enhance the continuing long-range growth and profitability of the Venus Food & Beverage divisionActively manages the Food & Beverage RFP process for existing and new festivals in coordination with the operations teamsPartner with the SVP of Food & Beverage in providing continuous direction, support, feedback to all concessionaire partners  and ensure consistency and brand compliance throughout all FestivalsCreate and maintain framework for strong interdepartmental communication to effectively implement cross promotional goals

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; preferably in Business, Management or HospitalityMinimum of 3-5 years restaurant or venue F&B operations, with a proven knowledge and understanding of F&B business and operationsMulti-unit restaurant leadership experience highly preferredMust have ability to work within a corporate environment and as part of a multi-disciplined team of Food & Beverage and entertainment executivesRequires excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Compete or similar hospitality software management systemMust have working knowledge of POS systems and back office reporting systemsMust have expertise in the profitability analysis and budgetingExhibits strong problem solving skills in long term and immediate situations
