The JOB
The Venue Marketing Coordinator, under the guidance of the Venue Marketing Manager, will be responsible for multiple tasks that drive the success of marketing efforts for House of Blues, House of Blues Bronze Peacock, and The Foundation Room all located in Houston, Texas. These tasks include updating show information across venue touchpoints (website, app, social), QC and updating of email automation, coordination and delivery of marketing assets supporting venue hospitality and ancillary products, and arranging onsite venue execution for non-show related needs. This individual will be a self-starter and see projects through to completion.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties for the Regional Marketing Management TeamUpdate venue website, app, and in-venue signage and maintain quality control (ensure show information is up to date, work with partners to ensure F&B, PSS, Foundation Room & SpecialEnsure event content is updated as necessary and representedCoordinate asset placement in digital video and physical in-venue signage (concert vision, posters, etc.)Coordinate creative assets & delivery to venues for future show supportSchedule ad campaigns on Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Bandsintown, Spotify, digital display, etc.Build and schedule venue e-blasts, as needed.Research audience and artist demographic information to help shape marketing plansAssist with any grassroots marketing campaigns (ordering flyers/posters, shipping materials)Ensure all necessary show marketing information is input into Live Nation proprietary marketing toolsAssist in social publishing for show related needs – announce, presale, on saleCoordinate approvals and execution of promotional sweepstakesCoordinate onsite activations to help drive name acquisition for future show marketing needsCoordinate onsite coverage for day of show marketing needs supporting radio partners, meet and greets, press photographersCoordinate house photographers and asset collection for respective venuesCoordinate proper sponsorship placements as needed across digital, website, app, social, onsite signageWork with Manager to coordinate the delivery of promotional tickets with applicable marketing partners throughout the regionCompile advertising settlement recap reports for locally booked eventsAssist with the coding and processing of incoming advertising invoicesAbility to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings is required (as dictated by show dates, deadlines, etc.)Day of show event coverage as necessary Manually build and manage fan communications in case of emergencyAssist local sponsorship team with annual local sponsorship marketing recaps, as requestedWork with Manager to assist the local PR team in compiling local show information for press releasesAssist in additional duties as neededSKILLS/COMPETENCIES
1-3 years of prior experience in event assisting/planning or marketing experience within an entertainment, sports, or public assembly facility settingExceptional written and verbal communication skills to professionally present marketing concepts and strategies to artist management.Work well in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while juggling multiple tasks.Strong Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite skillsExperience with CanvaGood working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, multimedia management software, and social media scheduling toolsAbility to learn and efficiently use project management software/toolsLive Nation’s policy regarding vaccinations and masking related to a pandemic or other infectious disease control measures, acts of God, health and safety mandates and/or restrictions imposed by applicable local, state or federal governments has evolved over time.
