Austin Industrial, Inc. - We are currently seeking an experienced Loader to be based in Pasadena, TX.
This position requires a Valid TWIC Card and a Valid Driver’s License.
This is a distribution ongoing position working 5x8’s+ plus OT, then shift work (Floater) - No Per Diem (Shift Work).

Loader

This person will load chemicals into or from tanks, trailers, rail cars or other various containers. Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

At all times, follow proper procedures for the loading and unloading trucks.
Read P&IDs
Identify different kinds of valves on the P&ID as well as in the field
Identify and remediate leaks on or around equipment
Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to Pass D.O.T. physical and NASAP D.O.T. test.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education – no minimum education requirements.

Certifications/Licenses: TWIC and Valid Driver's License

Experience – 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.

Requirements: 

Must have some knowledge of Truck Loading/ Unloading.
Knowledge of how to read P&IDs, be able to identify different kinds of valves on the P&ID as well as in the field.
Knowledge of how the different valves operate, and why they operate and direct flow the way they do.
Ability to identify and remediate leaks on or around equipment, as well as know when a pump is cavitating and how to correct the situation.
Knowledge of the hazards of different chemicals in the Process Tank Farm.
