Job Summary 

This position is responsible for loading all outbound shipments and unloading all inbound deliveries.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operates a propane sit-down forklift. Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order. Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials. Moving of product to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Take product off the production line and store in designated location. Transport raw materials to production workstations. Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety. Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare to label. Material handling of all products. Follow manufacturing work orders.

Forklift, rulers, measuring tape, calipers, calculator, handheld tools, power tools

Working Conditions: 

Fast paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions. Hours Worked: 40 hours per week, 2nd shift Days/Week: Monday – Thursday
