Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform physical duties that are associated with the operation of equipmentFollow direction of the Area Supervisor with regards to daily production and activities to complete the jobPerform daily preventive maintenance on equipment as requiredFollow the dress code and compliance of proper PPE at all timesWork independently in the absence of direct supervisionProfound ability to make decisions, solve problems and handle high stress situations calmly and safely

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications:

Basic math, reading and writing skillsHeavy equipment experience preferred[Skid Steer, Bob Cat, Fork Lift, Front End Loader, Crane]Knowledge of Non-Ferrous and Ferrous MaterialsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to organize, plan and prioritize work efficientlyPass a pre-employment drug screeningPass a pre-employment background checkWilling to work overtime and weekends when necessary

Physical Requirements:

Sit and stand for long periods of timeAble to climb into mobile equipmentExposure to physical operations in scrap recycling facilities, including walking/climbing in active industrial yards with uneven surfaces in inclement weather
