The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a part-time Loading Dock Receiving Supervisor to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a Loading Dock Receiving Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

What will you do? Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling Ensure proper stock of food and beverage products Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of the outdated product, ensuring the rotating of products (FIFO) Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas Oversee the proper closing of the assigned area Enforce company policies and safety regulations More about you Minimum 6 months food and beverage commissary or related experience required Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems required Strong management skills; ability to delegate and coach others Basic math skills No college degree required Physical requirements Ability to lift, push and pull up to 165 pounds Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season Shift details
