Description We are inviting applications for the position of a Loan Closer in our organization based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This role is pivotal in our construction and contracting industry, where your primary function will be to manage and oversee various aspects of our customer loan closing process. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage all aspects of closing documentation, including the reconciliation paperwork and certificates of occupancy • Communicate effectively with customers, lenders, and title companies, ensuring prompt and comprehensive responses to calls and emails • Oversee the preparation of Customer Orientation Inspection packages • Coordinate and schedule closing appointments with all relevant parties • Draft necessary default letters for closing transactions • Maintain the closing report updated on a weekly basis • Organize and maintain electronic homeowner files after the closing process • Conduct weekly discussions with the preferred lender Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the Construction/Contractor industry • Proficient in preparing and understanding Closing Disclosure documents • Demonstrated experience in handling Closing Documents • Capable of preparing and validating Closing Packages • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement • Previous experience in Mortgage Closing is essential • A keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
