Loan Documentation & Processing Rep
The Loan Doc & Proc Rep is located in Irving, TX performs various on-site tasks which include managing, imaging of incoming mail, review and receipt of legal document, support the pledging of borrower-in-custody records, insurance tracking, DTR processing as well as shipment of documentation to our Third Party vendor. Has direct impact and communicates with all internal business partners to ensure questions concerning documentation, insurance and document linkage. May service an expansive and/or diverse array of products/services. Applies working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts and in-depth knowledge of team objectives. Understands how assigned duties contribute to the work of the team/unit and how the units coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve the objectives of the function. Ensures the quality and and timely service of self and others. May recommend new options to enhance productivity in accordance with guidelines. Requires tact and diplomacy when exchanging complex or sensitive information with others. Is sensitive to audience diversity. Basic knowledge of the organization, the business and its policies required. Typically, responsible for resolving basic to moderately complex problems based on practice and precedence. Able to assess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures. Individual must be accountable, ethical, results oriented, trustworthy, and credible. This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. **Responsibilities:** + This role will manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process + Activities will include independently processing and closing loans within a complex loan operations environment + Interprets data and contributes to recommendations for loan process improvement + Minimizes risk to the bank through knowledge of procedural requirements - understands and monitors errors to suggest solutions to reduce errors, adheres to audit and control policies with knowledge of lending documentation, operations, and terminology + Timely escalation of all inquiries and issues related to loan documentation + Develops a good understanding of products, processes, industry practices and standards + Applies a good knowledge of a wide range of specialized administrative/technical skills to monitor, analyze and/or evaluate processes and data + Ensures the accuracy of tasks performed, and the quality and timeliness of tasks that affect own team and closely related teams + Applies a good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the wider team/working group + Utilizes good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders, to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information + May have direct interaction with external customers to disseminate or explain information + Individuals at this level exhibit basic executional capabilities and are beginning to take on more responsibilities + Performs loan documentation/processing functions of moderate complexity + manages documentation delivery and receipt in a quality manner + Works with insurance document to ensure effective tracking of insurance items + Images and links document + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, business practices, escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + 1-2 years relevant experience + Elementary level knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process + Ability to work on site + Demonstrate understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services + Insurance knowledge and awareness + Basic awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation + Able to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues + Awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes + Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies **Education:** + High School diploma or equivalent This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
